The Step Up Process

Set Up Apps use an agile, iterative rapid development process designed to deliver results quickly and to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.

A typical project :-

Workshop

• The initial workshop session delivers the Application Definition Statement, and a set of wireframe sketches describing the look and feel of the application. We believe that you can't beat a face to face meeting using pen, paper and whiteboards for this session. Step Up will advise what is and is not possible and, for mobile apps, what will and will not pass any AppStore guidelines.

Development iterations

• A typical project will have two to three iterations of development. During each cycle, the application will be made available to the client's test users for test and evaluation. We aim to have the first prototype of any application in the hands of our client within a few days of the workshop. Each cycle has a fixed duration, typically of one to two weeks.

Publish

• For mobile apps, When ready, the app is published on the AppStore, or made available to corporate users via the internet or intranet. Step Up take care of this process.

Maintain

• It is vital to enhance and maintain a mobile app based on user feedback. Step Up will be on hand to respond and update the app as needed post-release.
